Card Funding Authorization

Your authorization for charges and credits

By linking a payment card to your Privacy account (your "Funding Card"), you authorize Privacy to charge and credit your Funding Card as follows:

• Charges. Privacy may charge your Funding Card (a) when you initiate a transaction using a Privacy Card funded by that Funding Card, in the amount of that transaction, (b) when you initiate a transaction to add funds to your Privacy account, and (c) for any amounts you owe Privacy under the Terms of Service, including amounts needed to correct an erroneous credit and applicable fees.
• Credits. If you receive a refund or other credit on a Privacy Card transaction, or you choose to remove funds from your Privacy account, you authorize Privacy to credit your Funding Card to complete that transaction. Privacy may also credit your Funding Card to correct an erroneous charge.
• Amount and frequency. The amount and frequency of charges and credits depend on how you use your Privacy account, and charges may occur multiple times per day. You agree that Privacy may make these charges and credits without advance notice of their amount or date, except where notice is required by applicable law or card-network rules.
• Failed charges. If a charge is declined or fails, Privacy may charge your Funding Card again at a later time to the extent permitted by applicable law and card-network rules without advance notice to you except where such notice is required.

Card on file

You understand that Privacy will save your Funding Card information on file and use it for future charges and credits under this authorization until you revoke this authorization, except as described under "How to cancel".

How to cancel

You may revoke this authorization at any time by unlinking your Funding Card in your account settings or by emailing support@privacy.com. Revoking this authorization does not cancel transactions you authorized before revocation, including Privacy Card transactions funded by your Funding Card that have not yet settled. To the extent permitted by applicable law and card-network rules, Privacy may still charge or credit your Funding Card to complete those transactions. Nothing in this authorization limits your rights under applicable law, including rights to stop payment, dispute transactions, or obtain error resolution.

Your Funding Card issuer's terms

All charges authorized using Privacy are also subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the entities that issue your payment card. You are responsible for complying with those terms and conditions, and you are responsible for payment of all charges and related fees imposed by such entities pursuant to those terms and conditions.

Who may link a card

You may only link a payment card that you are authorized to use. If the card is issued to a business or another person, you represent that you are authorized to link it to your Privacy account and to approve charges and credits to it under this authorization. Using a payment card without authorization is prohibited.

Your records

This electronic authorization is your written authorization for the charges and credits described above. You represent that you are able to print or otherwise save a copy of it for your records.
